The ID:12 Transponder Chip for Mercedes & (VW) Volkswagen is a TEMIC vehicle transponder chip used for spare and replacement key programming with suitable diagnostic equipment. A transponder chip must be correctly prepared and programmed before it will start the vehicle; fitting the chip alone will not bypass or operate the immobiliser.
