The Philips PCF7935 Diagnostic Transponder Chip is a Philips vehicle transponder chip used for spare and replacement key programming with suitable diagnostic equipment. A transponder chip must be correctly prepared and programmed before it will start the vehicle; fitting the chip alone will not bypass or operate the immobiliser.

Check compatibility

  • Do not rely only on make, model, year or registration search, as vehicles can change systems on crossover years.
  • Match the chip ID, part/reference code and vehicle application against your existing key or immobiliser data before ordering.

Programming required

Tool and pre-coding notes

  • For VAG vehicles, dealer software such as ODIS can usually only learn a correctly prepared/pre-coded chip; it will not normally pre-code a blank chip for you.

Handling and returns

  • Check compatibility before ordering, especially if the vehicle is on a crossover year or has a different immobiliser system.
  • Once programmed, pre-coded, generated, modified or fitted, transponder chips are normally non-returnable.
