BMW E Series - Mini - Replacement Battery VL2020 - 90 degree legs - 3V 20Mah

A replacement rechargeable battery for selected car key remotes and fobs where the original battery has become weak, stopped holding charge or caused remote operation issues.

This VL2020 replacement fob battery is used in selected BMW and Mini remote key fobs. It is typically required when the remote becomes non-responsive, only works close to the vehicle, stops working completely, or the vehicle reports a key battery warning.

This is designed for remote key repairs where the existing rechargeable battery has failed or no longer holds charge properly. The 90 degree leg layout is used on selected BMW E Series and Mini remote key boards, so compare the leg position with the battery currently fitted before ordering.

This style normally requires soldering to the remote circuit board, so professional fitting is recommended unless you are confident with electronic repair work. Incorrect soldering, overheating or forcing the key casing open can damage the remote, which may cost far more to repair than the battery itself.
