A dry graphite lock lubricant for cylinders, keyways and precision lock maintenance where oil-based products may attract dirt.

The Kasp Microfine Graphite Powder Lock Lubricant is designed for lock cylinders and keyways where a dry, non-greasy lubricant is often preferred. Graphite powder can help a key move more smoothly inside the lock without leaving an oily residue that may attract dust and dirt.

Choosing the correct lubricant matters. A dry graphite powder, a multi-use spray and a general workshop spray all have different uses, so it is worth matching the product to the job rather than simply spraying anything into a lock.

Best used for lock cylinders, keyways, padlocks and similar mechanisms where a dry lubricant is suitable. It can be particularly useful in colder conditions where moisture and freezing can make locks feel stiff.

Dry lock lubrication

Non-greasy graphite powder is useful where oil-based sprays could attract grit or dust.

Lock cylinder friendly

Suitable for many keyways, cylinders, padlocks and precision lock mechanisms.

Anti-freeze help

Useful for lock maintenance in cold or damp conditions when locks can become stiff.

Important: Use a small amount only. If the key is badly worn, bent or the lock is damaged, graphite will not repair the fault. A worn key can damage a lock, so consider having a fresh key cut if the blade is badly worn.
