An ergonomic remote splitter with a 4.5mm tip for opening tough remote key and fob cases.

The GTL Remote Splitter (LT-509) has a plastic head and a 4.5mm tip. The ergonomic design means the handle fits perfectly in your palm, giving you greater leverage to open even the toughest remote cases - ideal for battery changes, button-pad swaps, PCB repairs and re-shells.

What it does

Splits and opens clipped remote / key fob cases cleanly, without damaging the shell.

Ergonomic handle

The palm-fit plastic head gives extra grip and leverage on stiff, glued or clipped cases.

Tip size

4.5mm tip. Also available with 6mm and 9mm tips, or as a triple pack of all three sizes.

Tip: Work the splitter gently around the seam of the case rather than forcing it in one spot, to avoid cracking the shell or damaging the internal PCB. Professional auto-locksmith tool.
