Check before ordering

• Match the outside shape, button layout and internal images against your existing key.
• Make/model/year and registration lookup are only a guide; crossover years can have more than one remote case option.
• Some cases look almost identical externally but have different internal supports, battery positions or PCB layouts.
• This listing uses the HON66 / HOND-31 blade/profile where supplied or where cutting is selected.

What this part does

• This repair case will not start the vehicle or operate the central locking by itself.
• You must transfer the working internal parts from your original key, such as the PCB, transponder/chip and battery contacts where applicable.
• If your original electronics are faulty, a case alone will not fix programming, immobiliser or remote signal problems.

Fitting advice

• Open the original key carefully to avoid damaging the PCB, transponder chip, antenna, battery contacts or soldered components.
• Do not force the shell apart; damage to the original electronics can turn a simple case repair into a full replacement key job.
• If you are not confident, ask a professional, pop into our Essex store, or post the original key to us and we can usually transfer the parts for a small charge.
• The original blade will not always swap into an aftermarket case because hinge, pin and blade root sizes can vary. Having the new blade cut when ordering is often the safest option.

Cutting & returns

• Cutting can be selected from clear image upload or correct key code where the product options are available.
• Cut blades are normally non-returnable once cut to image or code.
