The Advanced Diagnostics ADC187 is a 6-pin ignition bypass cable suitable for VAG vehicles. Vehicles with electronic ignitions (proximity & slot-key configurations) need a programmed key to turn the ignition on. In an all-keys-lost situation the ADC187 sends an "ignition on" signal so the vehicle can be worked on. The cable connects to the vehicle battery and has fuse-blade terminations to connect to specified fuses in the vehicle.
